RM125 '96-00, '03 VHM standard: 1996–2000, 2003, dome piston
In general: smaller volume = higher compression = more pull but better fuel needed; larger volume = lower compression, the engine revs out more freely and tolerates pump fuel. If in doubt, take the standard.

Exchangeable combustion chamber (insert) for the VHM cylinder head AA33078. Chamber volume 11.00 cc. 🔴 The insert fits ONLY the VHM head AA33078 — it cannot be fitted into the OEM head. For the stock (OEM) piston. Compared with the VHM standard (11.20 cc) it has a smaller volume, i.e. higher compression: the engine pulls harder but needs higher-octane fuel, otherwise it may detonate. Quick to change — the insert simply sits in the head and seals with O-rings. The last characters of the part number are engraved on the insert, so you cannot mix them up. Fits: Suzuki RM 125 (1996–2008); Suzuki RM 144 (2000–2003).
