Result: the bike comes alive sound-wise, loses 1–2 kg from the tail, and visually it's a different machine. Material: titanium. The Akrapovic titanium silencer is 40–60% lighter than the steel OEM exhaust. Titanium is also more resistant to corrosion and withstands higher temperatures — that's why Akrapovic uses it in MotoGP engine exhausts as well. Installation can be done by any mechanic in an hour — bolt-on to the original mount. It works fully without an ECU remap, remap is not a requirement (but it adds power).
