Akrapovic Slip-On for Z900 is the most popular exhaust upgrade — you only replace the muffler, the header remains OEM. Result: the bike comes alive with sound, loses 1–2 kg from the tail, and visually it's a different bike. Material: titanium. The titanium Akrapovic muffler is 40–60% lighter than the steel OEM exhaust. Titanium is also more resistant to corrosion and withstands higher temperatures — that's why Akrapovic also uses it in MotoGP engine exhausts. Installation can be done by any mechanic within an hour — bolt-on to the original mounting. It works fully without an ECU remap, remapping is not required (but adds power).
