Akrapovic Slip-On for Z900 ECE is the most popular exhaust upgrade — you replace only the muffler, the header stays OEM. Result: the bike comes alive sound-wise, loses 1–2 kg from the tail and looks like a different machine. Material: titanium. The Akrapovic titanium muffler is 40–60% lighter than the steel OEM exhaust. Titanium is also more resistant to corrosion and can withstand higher temperatures — which is why Akrapovic also uses it in MotoGP engine exhausts. Installation can be handled by any mechanic in an hour — bolt-on to the original mounting. It works fully without an ECU remap, remapping is not a requirement (but it does add power).
