Akrapovic Slip-On for NINJA 400 is the most popular exhaust upgrade — you only replace the muffler, the header remains OEM. Result: the bike's sound comes alive, the tail loses 1–2 kg and visually it's a different bike. Material: titanium. The titanium Akrapovic muffler is 40–60% lighter than the steel OEM exhaust. Titanium is also more resistant to corrosion and withstands higher temperatures — which is why Akrapovic also uses it in MotoGP exhausts. Installation can be done by any mechanic in an hour — bolt-on to the original mounting points. It works fully without an ECU remap, remap is not a requirement (but it adds power).
