Akrapovic Slip-On for C400X / GT is the most popular exhaust upgrade — you only replace the muffler, the header stays OEM. Result: the bike comes alive sonically, loses 1–2 kg off the tail and looks like a different machine visually. Material: titanium. The titanium Akrapovic muffler is 40–60% lighter than the steel OEM exhaust. Titanium is also more resistant to corrosion and withstands higher temperatures — which is why Akrapovic also uses it in MotoGP exhausts. Installation can be done by any mechanic in an hour — bolt-on to the original mounting points. It works fully without an ECU remap, remap is not mandatory (but adds power).
