Result: the bike comes alive sound-wise, loses 1–2 kg from the tail, and looks like a different machine. Material: titanium. The titanium Akrapovic muffler is 40–60% lighter than a steel OEM exhaust. Titanium is also more resistant to corrosion and withstands higher temperatures — which is why Akrapovic uses it even in MotoGP exhausts. Installation can be done by any mechanic in an hour — bolt-on to the original mounting. It works fully without an ECU remap; remapping is not required (but it adds power).
