The titanium Akrapovic muffler is 40–60% lighter than the steel OEM exhaust. Titanium is also more resistant to corrosion and withstands higher temperatures — that's why Akrapovic also uses it in MotoGP exhausts. Installation can be done by any mechanic in an hour — bolt-on to the original mounting. It works fully without an ECU remap, remap is not required (but it adds power).
