Maxima Racing DOT 4 is a synthetic racing brake fluid. It is designed to keep the lever firm at temperatures where ordinary DOT 4 starts to boil, i.e. under hard braking on track and in motocross. It meets DOT 3 and DOT 4, so it can go wherever DOT 4 is specified. Like any DOT 4 it absorbs moisture; in race use change it more often. Do not mix with silicone DOT 5.
