Maxima DOT 5 brake fluid (500 ml)

Maxima DOT 5 is a silicone brake and clutch fluid. Unlike DOT 4 it does not absorb moisture or attack paint, which is why it is used in classics and machines that stand for long periods, and where the manufacturer specifies it (older Harley-Davidsons, for example). Note: DOT 5 must not be mixed with DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1. Converting a system from glycol fluid means a complete flush and new seals.
