Motor slip regulation (MSR)

This is a genuine KTM PowerParts item supplied by the motorcycle manufacturer, not an aftermarket replacement. The optionally available Motor Slip Regulation (MSR) works in the opposite direction to MTC. If, due to quick downshifts or abrupt throttle chopping, engine drag torque is too high, the ride-by-wire system opens the throttle just enough to prevent the rear wheel from slipping. With the help of MSC, this function is also lean-angle sensitive.
