Motor slip regulation (MSR)

This is a genuine KTM PowerParts item supplied by the motorcycle manufacturer, not an aftermarket replacement. The optionally available Motor Slip Regulation (MSR) works in the opposite direction of the MTC. If the engine drag torque is too high due to quick downshifts or abrupt throttle chopping, the ride-by-wire system opens the throttle exactly as much as needed to prevent the rear wheel from drifting. With the help of MSC, this system is also lean-angle sensitive.
