Maxima Fork Oil is a mineral oil for front forks, both conventional and cartridge type. It maintains film strength, limits foaming and stiction at the start of travel and conditions the seals. Choose the weight from the service manual: 5 WT and 10 WT are the most common, and a heavier oil slows the damping. Fork oil ages and fills with wear particles, so change it regularly, not only once the fork leaks.
